Car boot sales in France

507 car boot sales dates are currently scheduled across France and Europe. They are refreshed every morning from public sources, and past events drop out of the listings automatically.

For visitors, entry to flea markets and car boot sales is almost always free. Some antique and collectors’ fairs charge €2–5. Exhibitors, on the other hand, pay the organiser a pitch fee.

A private individual may take part in at most two "ventes au déballage" per calendar year (article L310-2 of the French Code de commerce). Beyond that the activity counts as commercial. You may also only sell your own used personal belongings, and must sign the sellers’ register kept by the organiser.

The best finds go early: seasoned hunters arrive at daybreak, often between 6 and 8 am. Conversely, the final hour is the best time to haggle, since sellers would rather sell than pack up. Exact opening hours are rarely supplied by public sources, so they are rarely shown here.
